Dr. Michelle Coats is a nationally board certified chiropractor and
is licensed by the state of Arizona. She received her Doctorate of
Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS)
in Lombard, IL and graduated with a B.S. from the University of
Indianapolis. Dr. Michelle believes in a rehab base of chiropractic
care that involves muscle stretches and strengthening the spine.
This helps correct the cause of problems as well as the
misalignment.
Dr. Michelle advocates patient education and active
patient participation, which allows people to heal more quickly, more completely and
have less a chance for re-injury. Most of her patients begin to see
results from the very first adjustment. Her technique is
individualized so that it is gentle yet effective for everyone,
whether it's the newborn, the recently injured, seniors or the athlete.
She has been practicing in Surprise, AZ for 2 years.
Sara L. Collis D.C. graduated in 2001 from the National University of Health Services, formerly known
as the National College of Chiropractic. Prior to chiropractic school, she went to undergraduate
school at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee,graduating in 1997.Her degrees include Bachelor
of Arts in Biological Sciences, Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic.
While attending UW-Milwaukee, Dr. Collis worked at a large law firm in downtown Milwaukee for 6
years. Other life experience includes 14 years of dance, modeling, school,volunteer safety crew
work for super bike races and volunteer work caring for big cats. While attending chiropractic school,
Dr. Collis worked as a teaching assistant in the gross anatomy laboratory. She also worked for a
chiropractic neurologist and kinesiologist in the area.She maintained and above average GPA.
which sustained her at a Dean's list status. Dr. Collis is trained in Nutrition, Applied Kinesiology
and Functional Neurology, Kinesio Taping and NET (Neuro Emotional Technique). Dr. Collis practised in the Milwaukee area
of Wisconsin through 2007 and has been a valued member at DC Canyon Health & Wellness since the summer of 2008.
In her spare time, Dr. Collis enjoys traveling, working out, hiking and climbing and spending time with her husband, Steve.

A well trained licensed massage practitioner utilizes their hands
as tools to alleviate stress, pain, and tension while promoting
wellness. According to the National Institute of Health,

bodywork every year.
Karin entered into the alternative medicine field in 1998 in
order to heal herself of Crohn's Disease. For 2 years, she was too
ill to work. Together with her Chinese M.D. and numerous therapeutic
touch energy treatments, dietary changes and other therapies, Karin
regained her health. She no longer suffers from Crohn's Disease. She
was so inspired by her journey that she began working for her
Chinese M.D. in his Westmont, Illinois clinic as a doctor/patient
liaison. Five years later she became director of an alternative
medicine clinic on the north side of Chicago. Today, DC Canyon
Health and Wellness Center is very fortunate to have been able to
